Pirate Ogre Origins

I had a diary going on Wargamerau whilst I was painting my Ogre Pirates. This was before I started my blog, so it was pretty much a in lieu of this. Alas, the photos were hosted by my old ISP, and have long since been lost from the internet (perhaps someone out there had applied rule 34, but I doubt it). Anyway, I thought I'd put some pictures up of them in case anyone was interested, and because I wanted them out there again. Let me take you back to 2009...

Almost Ready for Action

The gators are done. All they need is a movement tray (which is drying as I type) and they'll be ready for what I hope to be my first game in roughly 18 months. It'll be rusty, but I'm looking forward to it either way.

Gators' progress.

Some pictures of the gators as they are right now. The unit is all but done, however a few details are still missing. This is entirely due to my lack of any red paint, so some orange details I can't do. I'm out of red, and I've never owned an orange before... Sorry, I had no specific lighting for the shots, just room lights.

The whole unit.

Ogre Revival

It lives!

Almost a year ago, I stopped posting. Today, I've started again. It's not like any one thing has suddenly happened, or that I've done absolutely nothing in the meantime, but I finally feel like I have a goal/project in mind and something that I'm working toward that's worth writing about!

Pirate Ogres Revist

Having just sold my Arabyan Orc army, I'm a little cashed up. Nothing big, but I have a bit of disposable income so I was thinking of ways to have a bit more fun, but also a bit of an investment.
